Keep a Dryer Sheet in your Luggage

I love when I learn tips and tricks from my clients!  A client recently showed me how she keeps dryer sheets in suitcases and luggage.  This simple trick keeps the bags smelling fresh while in storage.  There’s nothing worse than putting clean clothes into a bag that smells musty- and what smells better than clean laundry!?

You can also keep dryer sheets in dresser drawers to keep clothes smelling fresh for longer.

You’re probably asking yourself, “Now Hillary, what does this tip have to do with organizing?”  Here’s the thing, keeping luggage fresh and ready for use will save you the time of having to clean or air our luggage before use.  This will also help you to use the luggage you already own for a longer period of time.  If you’re first reaction when you open your luggage is, “Ewe!  Gross!” you will be more inclined to want to purchase new luggage.  If you have already made the financial investment in good luggage take the extra little step to care for it.
