Making Peace with the Things in Your Life- Book Review

The book Making Peace with the Things in Your Life does a good job of breaking down exactly where Things come from and why we have difficulty removing things from our lives.

If there is a particular aspect of the life of a Thing (acquisition, storing, removing) that is troubling for for you, then the book is broken down to make it easy to find strategies to resolve it.

The book also offers ample examples of where items come from, what you do with items when you have them, how things leave you and much more.  As someone who is more aware of where Things come from and the “life cycle” of a Thing, the examples seemed excessive to me.  However, if you are trying to identify how you best interact with Things, the wealth of examples may be beneficial for you.

Like I said before, the book is easy to jump around and find topics that are of most importance to you.  The chapter titles are straight to the point and bulleted information within the chapters makes for easy scan-ability of the book.  If you are having trouble understanding where Things are coming from and how to let them go out of your world, take a look at this book for insight and ideas.
