Post Wedding Name Change

As if planning a wedding is not enough work, when you arrive home from the honeymoon the work of combining accounts and changing your name may be in the picture.  I was overwhelmed at the process of changing my name; where do I go first?  What documents do I need?

In my research I came across an article that outlined the process of changing your name after marrying in simple easy to follow terms.  They also offer institutions you want to consider contacting with your new name (banks, schools, employers).  While the work is still tedious and I have many phone calls and forms ahead of me, I am reminded that I am not the first person to ever change my name and there is no need to reinvent the wheel with the process!
