“Erin, you inspired me! Thank you for sharing your insights and experiences with me. I love your words of wisdom and how motivated I felt during and after the seminar.”
When Donna contacted Living Peace, she had been living in the same home with her husband for over thirty years. They had raised their two children there, who now had children of their own, and they were preparing to move into a smaller new space.
As an active woman in her 60s, Donna had a variety of hobbies and activities that she was passionate about in her life including gardening, sewing, quilting, and creating miniature scenes. In the course of the thirty years in her home, Donna’s crafting spaces had become overwhelmed and essentially unusable. The family had started calling the craft room “the crap room” because it had been buried under mounds of bags and collections of various supplies.
- Weed out many areas of the home which had become over-stuffed during the past three decades in preparation for moving to a new smaller space
- Create functional crafting space & systems for creating dollhouse miniatures with necessary overstock storage for supplies on remote storage shelves.
- Improve storage for quilting and sewing supplies and create improved workspace for various sewing-related activities.
With thirty years of items built up and whole rooms filled with important crafting supplies no bigger than a thumbnail, the progress on Donna’s work continued steadily over a significant amount of time. And after processing through many of the major areas in the house, Donna worked with her Living Peace organizer to remove unnecessary items and streamline the storage systems within the current space. In the end, Donna moved into her own condo space and reinvented her life and her space in a way that gave full rein to her vigorous personal passions.
Freed from years and mounds of extra stuff, Donna worked with her Living Peace organizer to set up new systems for every area of her new home, and she delighted particularly in setting up the new sewing room wall-mounted storage system and the large basement workspace for her miniatures projects including a woodworking zone, categorized supply shelves, and a great new workspace that was large enough to invite her miniatures friends over for group work sessions.
In virtually every way, Living Peace supported Donna as she completely reinvented her life and discovered how to grow and support her lifelong passions in new ways. Together we created an environment that allowed them to truly flourish.
